Blueberry Cottage, Old Cleeve (Somerset) is a 16th Century, Grade II listed cottage situated in the heart of West Somerset and near the coast.  The cottage sleeps up to 3 or 4 guests in two bedrooms, one double and one single with the option of a pull-out bed for a 4th guest (suitable for children)

Blueberry Cottage, Old Cleeve (Somerset) is a cosy cottage representative of this period, the character oozes from the property in the form of the thatched roof, some low-doorways and beautiful cottage garden. The cottage is well-equipped with washing machine, freezer, microwave, FreeSat TV and wireless broadband to make this a comfortable holiday getaway!

Blueberry Cottage is dog-friendly and towels are provided for our four-legged guests, but please do not allow your dog on the furniture, upstairs or leave them alone in the property. Maximum of one dog permitted per booking.

The cottage is arranged over two floors with doors to the front and side. The side entrance opens into an amenity lobby with washing machine that leads through to the well-equipped kitchen complete with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, and cupboards stocked with kitchen essentials.

Through the kitchen, one comes to the lounge which also has access from the front door via a small lobby. There is a television with FreeSat and wireless broadband is available

The bathroom has underfloor heating and a heated towel rail, it is also on the ground floor and comprises bath with shower and screen, wc and hand basin. Towels are provided as are basic toiletries, such as soap, shampoo and shower gel

The staircase in the corner of the lounge leads up to a landing with airing cupboard and doors to the two bedrooms. The main bedroom comprises a double bed with bedside tables, chest of drawers, and wardrobe. The smaller bedroom has a single bed with extra pull-out bed beneath it so could comfortably accommodate two children (though would be a little cosy for two adults!). This bedroom also has a chest of drawers and dressing table.

Tea, coffee, sugar and all kitchen essentials such as flour, oil, herbs etc are provided.

Blueberry Cottage is dog-friendly and towels are provided for our four-legged guests, please do not allow your dogs on the furniture or allow them upstairs. Thank you for your co-operation. Maximum of one dog per booking.

The lawned gardens extend all around the cottage with flowerbeds containing an abundance of roses and other shrubs and plants. There is a small pond to the front, alive with frogs and newts. The patio to the side is ideal for dining alfresco when the weather and the mood takes you! The patio area is well-suited to enjoy sun from midday onwards and the kitchen windows open out on to it. There also a vegetable patch and cherry tree at the rear, you are welcome to help yourself to anything growing in the garden but will have to be quick to beat the birds!

Due the thatched roof,  barbecues are not permitted. Thanks for your understanding.

Very nice cottage in an excellent location. We did lots of exploring round the area and would recommend Dunster, Lynmouth, Portlock Weir plus we did some excellent coastal and river walks in the area.

It's a beautiful cottage, in old Cleeve. The walks around the area our a must. Our favourite places our porlock wier, porlock, and lynmouth. All of these you must visit. The Cottage has a wonderful garden to relax in.

This is a little gem of a cottage. Lovely ancient village of meandering lanes nestling in the hill. Pretty chocolate box thatch, characterful interiors and a lovely wrap around garden with views of the distant sea at the end.. So peaceful - we were awoken only by birdsong.
